Space Rentals
United South End Settlements has a wide variety of spaces available to fit your needs. Due to volume of requests, USES can only accomodate South End/Lower Roxbury residents and community organizations. For spaces in the Harriet Tubman House, please contact the Communty Center at (617) 536-8610. For spaces in the Children's Art Centre or South End House, please contact Helen Schroeder at (617) 375-8159.
 | Harriet Tubman House - Atrium The atrium, located on the ground floor, is ideal for larger events such as receptions, parties, and large gatherings. The Atrium has a 125 person capacity and can be equipped with chairs and tables. It is approximately 42 X 60 sq ft. |
 | Harriet Tubman House - Board Room The board room, located on the third floor, is ideal for those who are interested in holding meetings in a business-oriented setting. The board room has a 35 person capacity, and contains a telephone as well as a whiteboard. It is approximatey 17 X 30 sq ft. |
 | Harriet Tubman House - Cafeteria The cafeteria, located on the ground floor, is ideal for small receptions and meetings. The cafeteria has a 40 person capacity, and contains tables and chairs. It is approximately 19 X 35 sq ft. |
 | Harriet Tubman House - Classrooms The classrooms, located on the top floor, are ideal for small meetings, trainings, or gatherings. Various classrooms are available, with between an 8 to 20 person capacity, and contain tables, chairs, and a whiteboard. Classrooms vary in size. |
 | Harriet Tubman House - Conference Room The conference room, located on our top floor, is ideal for those who are interested in holding private meetings, seminars, trainings, or forums. The conference room has a 8 person capacity, and contain tables, chairs, and a whiteboard. It is approximately 12 X 20 sq ft. |
 | Harriet Tubman House - Lincoln House Room The Lincoln House Room, located on our second floor, is ideal for recreational classes, small forums, gatherings, receptions, and meetings. The Lincoln House Room has a 65 person capacity, and can be set up with chairs and tables. It is approximately 30 X 35 sq ft. |
 | Children's Art Centre - Building and Courtyard The Children's Art Centre and Playground, located at 36 Rutland Street, is ideal for birthday parties and large receptions on the weekends. Available as "Hands Off" space rental or "Hands On" Birthday Party Package, including art instruction, set up, cleanup, and additional add-ons. There is a 75 person capacity; 35 person capacity indoors only. |
 | South End House - Multi-Purpose Room The Multi-Purpose Room, located at 48 Rutland Street, is ideal for birthday parties and small-to-medium receptions. There is a 50 person capacity. Available only on weekends. |
