Overview

United South End Settlements has an important history of bringing technology education to the underserved populations of the South End and Lower Roxbury since 1985. We continue to offer many programs for the community and have integrated computer education into almost all of our programs.  Please call (617) 375-8127 for more information concerning our offerings.

Timothy Smith Computer Learning Center

Our computer center, called the Timothy Smith Computer Learning Center (TSCLC), provides access to state-of-the-art computer hardware, software, and high-speed Internet access. United South End Settlements is a member of the Timothy Smith Network, a partnership of 38 organizations throughout Greater Roxbury that seek to improve the technological competencies of the residents of Roxbury.  The equipment in each center is funded through the City of Boston's Timothy Smith Fund.

The TSCLC at United South End Settlements is located on the second floor of the Harriet Tubman House at 566 Columbus Avenue.

Open Access

The TSCLC also hosts Open Access hours. During these times, any member of the community can use our computer center free of charge. Please note our hours of operation below.  These change seasonally based on staff availability and use of the center for other events.
